Now I can sleep.
The Minnesota Fringe Festival has come to an end, leaving us in all in a theatre hangover.
The Fringe was a huge, record-breaking success this year, and both of my shows were among the Top 10 most-attended! With 1,046 tickets issued, Bard Fiction was second, squeaking in behind The Harty Boys by a difference of 21 tickets. Coming in at # 10 was my other show, Ari Hoptman’s Tales…of the Expected! with 615 tickets issued.
Bard Fiction won the encore slot in the Rarig Thrust, up against the likes of powerhouses The Harty Boys, Sideways Stories, Joe Scrimshaw, and Ferrari McSpeedy.
Visitors to FringeFamous.com voted Bard Fiction “Outstanding Play.”
As of right now, Bard Fiction has received 88 audience reviews on the Fringe website and has a 4.5 kitty rating (out of 5). Tales…of the Expected! has 40 reviews and a 4-kitty rating.
Matthew Everett wrote a very favorable review of Bard Fiction.
And yay, our team won the Fringe pub trivia at The Bedlam!
I must’ve had some good karma. I said it before, but I had a wonderful Fringe, and I’m extremely grateful to have had this experience. So many great shows and awesome people.
