Holy poop!  Bard Fiction has been getting excellent reviews (averaging 4.5 out of 5 “kitties”) and has been leapfrogging with Jurassic Dork and Harty Boys for most-reviewed show on the Fringe site.  Here are some highlights from our reviews (of which there are currently 38):

The show itself is flawless, funny, clever, engaging and an impressive transplant of a modern story to an Elizabethan setting. – Guy Bock

The film was actually translated into fully functional and high octane period verse, flawlessly and entertainingly executed. Don’t go expecting Tarantino or lookalikes—this is so much more than pastiche; a piece the Bard himself would have been proud to have written. – David Norris

Brilliant, just effing brilliant. – Stan Peal

This is the first “must see” show of the Fringe season: a clever mashup of Shakespeare and Tarantino–combining the strengths of each. This is the one you’ll be telling people about later, saying “You won’t believe what you missed.” – Bill Stiteler

Well written, slick, sharp, and some lovely faces to look at too (bonus!).  – Chelley McLear

It was so extremely fun it’s worth watching twice. Well cast, well acted, great direction and interesting staging. – Jeff Miller

Tales…of the Expected has been getting some good response as well.  Dominic Papatola lists us among the “Worth Considering” category (one step down from the coveted “Must See” label), calling us a “talented ensemble.”  Here are some excerpts from audience reviews:

These have got to be some of the best performers I’ve seen at fringe, and luckily they’re all in the same show! – Arthur Adams

Clever, witty, laugh-out-loud funny, and a coterie of talented theater folks putting it across perfectly. Highly recommended. – James Vculek

A fun show with a superb cast and clever writing. – Dean Hatton

Three-Minute Egg will be covering Bard Fiction soon, so keep an eye out for that.   Also, the originator of the online project that gave birth to Bard Fiction will be flying in from New Jersey to see the show!  Can’t wait to meet him.
