Wow, Philip K. Dick’s last wife Tessa, a major character in our play portrayed by Mo Perry, posted comments on the Pioneer Press review of our show, mentioning her own memoir and expressing interest in seeing the show. Check it out.
Yesterday, Carin and I were roaming uptown and enjoying the weather before I had to go to the theatre, and I stumbled upon Booksmart’s awesome PKD selection. I bought a compilation of his non-fiction writings, which includes excerpts from his Exegesis (a major element in our show) and two finished chapters from his proposed sequel to The Man in the High Castle (which my character is constantly prodding Phil to write). I was pretty excited.
This will be our final weekend! There are only four more performances. Go to www.workhauscollective.org for details and to make reservations.

She also posted a comment on the CityPages preview. Her book came out in March (three months ago) so no, I haven’t incorporated her book in my play although I think Tessa comes off pretty well in the play, actually.
