At 3:00 PM today, Steph Long and I began the very last performance of “The Value of Life” at the Science Museum of Minnesota.  As you can see, it was bittersweet.

And now, here I am looking like I’m doing some sorta science show or something.

From that picture, you’d think our show was about physics instead of the Holocaust.

Strange day. I feel like we only just started this thing, which is odd, since this show ran longer than any show I’ve ever done (not counting my five-month gig in Skagway, Alaska). February 27th through May 4th. It feels like only yesterday, I was auditioning for it. This profession is so transitory.

Thanks to everyone who came to see it!

Here’s what’s taking our place:

It’s truly an injustice that I won’t be working there during that exhibit. However, my buddy Ed, who’s part of the Star Wars costumed-fan group the Rebel Legion, is heavily involved. That man wears rebel pilot and trooper uniforms like I wear t-shirts and jeans. I called him yesterday to ask him an unrelated question, and here’s how the call began:

Phone picks up.
(shuffling, clunking noise, more shuffling)
(pause)
Ed: “Hey, lemme get my helmet off, hold on.”
Me: “Okay.”
(pause)
Ed: “Okay, what’s up?”
