To those of you who have asked and have only been met with “I don’t know”s and “Don’t get me anything”s, I now officially know what I want for Christmas.

There’s a Guthrie acting class that will meet on Monday afternoons over 16 weeks. You can sign up for the entire 16-week course for $400. It’s the kind of thing I’ve been aching for, and it actually looks like the whole thing will fit into my schedule. At first, I thought it sounded expensive, but it’s cheaper than improv classes at the BNI (which are $220 per 8 week session). I have to send in an application, headshot, and résumé, and if I’m accepted, I’d be taking the class from January on into May.
