Jockey’s “Underwars”
Remember a thousand years ago when I did an ad for Jockey? I had to dance around like an idiot (which I did quite successfully, I might add) wearing Jockey boxers and an undershirt. The premise was that people would submit videos of themselves dancing in Jockey products, and website visitors would vote for their favorites. Jockey shot some of their own using actors to get the thing started.
I heard third-hand that the site, “Underwars,” is live. The video I shot isn’t on the site, though. I don’t know if it was up already and is now gone, if it will be up in the future, or if it just didn’t make the cut. Frankly, I would be surprised if it didn’t get posted, because the director, the producer, and the crew loved it and laughed their asses off. It’s not often that I toot my own horn, but it was darn good — one of the only professional gigs I’ve been sent out for that was genuinely appropriate for me. I hope it gets used. I’ll be keeping my eye on the site in case it goes up. (I am pathetic.)
Here’s the website: http://jockeyunderwars.com/
Two friends of mine are currently on the site: Matt Franta (labeled “Rockstar” on the site) and Keri Bunkers (“verysheri”). Check ‘em out. Vote for ‘em, even.
