Vote for Mike
So Mike Rylander, my NTC Mad About Money touring partner – the “Mike” I have referred to in my recent posts and spent the past month with — is representing North Dakota in this year’s Cosmopolitan Magazine “Bachelor of the Year” contest. Or as Mike and I have referred to it, the “Douchebag Pageant.”
Anyway, he and the bachelors from the other states will appear on The Today Show on Thursday, October 18th. Also on the 18th, the Cosmo issue hits the newsstands, containing all the bachelors, including Mike.
Click here to see his profile on the Cosmo website, and vote for him. Voting ends tonight at midnight, so if you’re gonna vote for him, do it now! Online voters will select the winner, Cosmo’s Bachelor of the Year. The winner gets a cover issue of Cosmo, $10,000, and plenty of press.
The Twin Cities’ local CBS affiliate, WCCO, just ran a story on him. Read the interview and watch the video! I am jealous — not of the Cosmo thing, but of his killer reel.
He’s currently honing a screenplay and attempting to get it produced. It’s called The Old Arizona (I’m about 1/3 of the way through the script, and it’s good). He’s hoping that the Cosmo thing will be a boost for his acting career and will attract more investors to his film.
Good luck, Mike!
